I think it's pretty safe to say that I have full on Pinterest addiction! Once I figure out how to do it, I will have a follow me on Pinterest button, but for now, you can just follow the link and get inspired. Like most, however, I have pinned more things than I have actually done!
I have said before that 30 has changed me. I'm WAY more frugal. I spent most of my 20's paying people to do stuff, and make stuff for me, and this year I just said, if they can do it, why can't I? I can make my own soap, I can decorate my home with my own creations, I can run my own business.
Then I realized that before I could do any of these crafts, I needed to actually buy all this stuff that everyone on Pinterest just seemed to have laying around.
I am proud to say that I have actually purchased and used modpodge. I saw a pin for how to make your own, but since it was my first time, I wanted it to be special :) I wasted the 6 bucks, and after the first use, I made a mental note to find that pin when I run out!
***The pin sent me to Do it Yourself Divas, and I will definitely be visiting their page quite often :)***
This is a whole new chapter in my life, and I won't lie, I'm totally winging it! I even modpodged wrong? Who new you could screw something called modgepogde up, but this girl did :) By the end, I came out a changed woman.
I had some pictures for you of my new craft collection, and some of my first creations...
but one of my monsters erased them :(
I will add some soon :)
This crafting stuff is taking over my soul, and I like it :) I even put a sewing machine on my wishlist! Too bad all my major life holidays are over already for the year....Maybe an early Christmas gift.... Ok, back to reality! Do you have a Pinterest addiction? What are some pins that you've tried? Any funny modpodge moments?
